Marking up prices 50% and more is just plain BAD BUSINESS. They lost mine! The over-inflated price is not shown anywhere but in the notification email. They should mark up the prices in a reasonable manner and then SHOW that price CLEARLY in the pick up at the store option on their website. BN really knows how to build ILL will! The employees there must go through this garbage many times each day! I would bet many quit.

I've been told it has to do with the fact that the overhead of running a brick and mortar causes things to be more expensive than if you buy online.

Quite honestly don't think it excuses them from absurdly high prices. I think they could lower them or at the very least actually have more sales (which B&N is bad for not doing).

I only buy from B&N when there is a small price difference but even then that can add up.

I know right? That happened to my brother. You'd think that they have a manual or something next to them at all times that names all their prices. That, and they love to put people on hold.

Not at McDonald's, but one time my dad took me to Burger King and we actually did order food. It wasn't complicated or anything, just a burger and fries and a drink for me, and a veggie burger and fries and a drink for him. It must have taken over thirty-minutes to get our food. The people were working so slow it was ridiculous.

I suppose for now i'll settle for bookmarking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this site with my Facebook group.
